Ingredients

Smoothie Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups fresh watermelon, diced For a creamier texture, choose ripe watermelon.
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries Frozen strawberries give the smoothie a thicker, creamier texture.
  • 2 frozen bananas Use ripe bananas for sweetness.
  • 1 half lime, juiced and zested Adjust sweetness with additional maple syrup if desired.
  • 2 tblsp vegan yogurt Adds creaminess.
  • 1 tblsp maple syrup Can be adjusted for sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by tossing all your ingredients into a high-speed blender, layering them thoughtfully.
  2. Add the watermelon first—this juicy base is what will make your smoothie silky and delicious.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high until you achieve a creamy texture.
  4. If you have a tamper, use it to gently push the fruit toward the blades for the smoothest consistency.
  5. Once well combined, pour into a glass or a hollowed-out watermelon rind for serving.

Notes

Serve the smoothie chilled, garnished with a slice of fresh lime or a sprig of mint. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a day, shaking well before enjoying. Consider freezing watermelon chunks beforehand for an even chillier treat.
