Preparation
- Combine chocolate biscuit crumbs, melted butter, and ground almonds in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into the base of a lightly greased slice tin or springform pan, and chill.
Filling
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese for 2 minutes or until smooth.
- Add caster sugar, melted Toblerone chocolate, and thickened cream, continuing to beat until well combined.
- Pour the mixture onto the prepared base and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until set, or overnight.
Serving
- Serve chilled, in small generous slices topped with chocolate shavings.
Notes
For additional texture, reserve some chopped Toblerone to fold in or sprinkle on top. Pair with coffee or mint tea for a delightful experience.
