Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and melted butter until well mixed.
- Add the eggs one at a time, folding gently into the mixture.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the chopped pecans and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Allow the pie to cool before slicing.
Notes
