Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Gradually mix in the sweetened condensed milk, beating for another 2 minutes until blended.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix for another 1-2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the flour and baking powder until just incorporated.
- Portion the dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C) and bake for 12 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, dust with confectioners' sugar.
