- In a medium bowl, stir together powdered sugar, corn syrup, clear vanilla, almond extract, and milk until smooth and lump-free.
- Divide the icing into four small bowls and add 3 to 5 drops of gel food coloring to each. Mix well to create vibrant colors.
- Pour the icing into quart-size Ziploc bags or piping bags. Snip off the tip when ready to use.
- Decorate your cookies with the colored icing and allow them to set for 12-24 hours.
Notes
Store unused icing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Adjust thickness as needed by adding more powdered sugar or milk.
