Preparation
- Combine butter, egg, vanilla, and cream cheese in a bowl. Mix together thoroughly.
- Add cake mix, half of the box at a time, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in white chocolate chips and M&Ms by hand.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour and then roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Baking
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop cookie dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 9 to 10 minutes. Cookies should not brown on the top but the bottoms may be lightly browned.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for several minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Cookies can be stored in an airtight container for 4 to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze baked cookies in layers separated by parchment in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
