- Mix the ground cookies with peanut butter and orange zest until a rich, sandy dough forms.
- Portion the dough into 10-gram pieces and roll them into small orbs.
- Chill the formed orbs in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Coating
- Melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil in a water bath until silky.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place the coated balls on a cooling rack and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Allow the balls to dry completely, ideally overnight.
Serving
- Serve Speculoos Balls on a delicate platter alongside spiced tea or coffee.
Storage
- Store in an airtight container in a cool place for up to two weeks.
