  • 2 cups 2 cups pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Gently fold in the pecans.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Baking
  1. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 60 to 70 minutes, until the filling is set and the crust is golden.

Notes

For a deeper flavor, toast the pecans lightly before adding them. For a firmer filling, add an extra egg. A sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking can enhance the sweetness. Serve with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce for a delightful experience.
