Cooking
- Transfer the mixture to a pan and simmer over medium heat, stirring continuously until it thickens (about 5 to 7 minutes).
- Once thickened, add the butter and stir until melted.
Setting
- Prepare a 6-inch greased pan with baking paper.
- Pour the mixture into the pan and cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
- Cut the chilled dessert into cubes and coat with desiccated coconut.
