Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Roast the mushrooms in the oven for about 20 minutes, until golden and tender.
- While the mushrooms are roasting, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and thyme, cooking until fragrant and the butter is browned.
- Remove the roasted mushrooms from the oven and toss them in the browned butter sauce.
- Serve immediately as a side dish.
Notes
Serve these straight from the pan while still warm. Optional toppings include fresh parsley or a squeeze of lemon. For storage, cool and refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
