  • 1 cup whipped topping Can use homemade if preferred.
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract Adjust amount for a stronger peppermint flavor.
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies For added crunch and festive flair.
For the Crust
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust Can be substituted with a chocolate cookie base.
For Topping
  • as needed whipped cream For serving.
  • as needed crushed peppermint candies For garnishing.

Method
 

Preparation of Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, introduce the softened cream cheese and beat until velvety smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until fully combined.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping and peppermint extract until well blended.
  4. Add in the crushed peppermint candies and mix gently.
Assembling the Pie
  1. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust, spreading evenly.
  2. Refrigerate for at least four hours to chill and set.
Serving
  1. Slice into pieces and serve chilled, topped with whipped cream and additional crushed peppermint.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Add whipped cream and crushed peppermint before serving again.
