Preparation
- Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit the bottom of an 8x8 baking dish.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of water into the pan to hold the parchment in place.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine unsalted butter and creamy peanut butter. Microwave for 60 seconds.
- Stir until completely combined.
- Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gradually stir in 3.25 cups of sifted powdered sugar until a cohesive mixture forms.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the surface with a spatula.
- Cover with parchment and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- After chilling, score the fudge lightly for cutting.
- Lift the fudge from the dish using the parchment paper.
- Cut into pieces with a warm knife.
- Adorn with M&M's on top for decoration.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge. Can be frozen for 2-3 months.
