Fudge Base
  • 1 tablespoon water To keep parchment paper in place
  • 1 cup unsalted butter Silken butter for the fudge
  • 1.5 cups creamy peanut butter For a smooth texture
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract For flavor enhancement
  • 3.25 cups powdered sugar, sifted Sweetness factor

  • M&M's For decoration

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit the bottom of an 8x8 baking dish.
  2. Pour 1 tablespoon of water into the pan to hold the parchment in place.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine unsalted butter and creamy peanut butter. Microwave for 60 seconds.
  4. Stir until completely combined.
  5. Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and mix well.
  6. Gradually stir in 3.25 cups of sifted powdered sugar until a cohesive mixture forms.
  7. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the surface with a spatula.
  8. Cover with parchment and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  9. After chilling, score the fudge lightly for cutting.
  10. Lift the fudge from the dish using the parchment paper.
  11. Cut into pieces with a warm knife.
  12. Adorn with M&M's on top for decoration.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge. Can be frozen for 2-3 months.
