Base Ingredients
  • 500 g unsalted butter, softened Take butter out of the fridge an hour before starting, or microwave in 5–7 second bursts until just softened.
  • 395 g sweetened condensed milk Delivers shine, density, and a caramel-like sweetness.
  • 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Beat the softened butter in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer or stand mixer until light, fluffy, and pale in color.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and continue beating for approximately 2 minutes until well combined and smooth.
  3. Incorporate the peanut butter and beat for an additional minute until fully integrated.
  4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure all ingredients are combined. Check the consistency; it should be smooth and creamy.
  5. Place the buttercream in a piping bag with a 1M tip and use immediately for decorating or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to one week in the fridge or freeze for up to two months. When ready to use, bring back to room temperature and re-whip briefly.
