Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Make sure it’s melted but not hot.
  • 1 cup light brown sugar Packed.
  • 1 large egg Use room temperature for better emulsification.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter Creamy or crunchy, your choice.
Dry Ingredients
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Lightly grease with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and light brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Stir in the peanut butter until all wet ingredients are combined.
  5. Add in the salt and flour, mixing until just incorporated.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for up to three months. Thaw in the fridge overnight or microwave for a few seconds to warm up.
