Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces ripe peaches, pitted and sliced Reserve a few slices for garnish.
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Adjust based on peach ripeness.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Use full-fat for a creamier slushie.
  • 2 cups ice cubes Use smaller ice cubes if needed.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is best.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • to garnish pieces Mint leaves For serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash, pit, and slice the peaches. Reserve a few slices for garnish and freeze the rest for at least 2 hours until firm but not completely solid.
Blending
  1. In a blender, combine the frozen peach slices, honey or maple syrup, Greek yogurt, ice cubes, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy, about 1-2 minutes. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water or fruit juice.
Serving
  1. Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with the reserved fresh peach slices and mint leaves, and serve immediately.
  2. If not serving right away, store in the freezer and let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving to achieve the perfect slushy consistency.

Notes

For variations, try adding bourbon for a boozy twist, swapping Greek yogurt for dairy-free options, or mixing in berries. Best enjoyed on the porch with good company.
