Nutella Soufflés

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 large large eggs Room temperature for better whipping.
  • 170 g Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread For a rich chocolate flavor.
  • Icing powdered sugar For dusting, optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 140 degrees C (275 degrees F).
  2. Crack the eggs into a bowl, separating the whites into one bowl and yolks into another.
  3. Beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  4. Combine Nutella with the egg yolks using the electric mixer.
  5. Gently fold in the egg whites into the Nutella mixture one-third at a time.
  6. Spoon the mixture equally into two greased ramekins, filling them about 3/4 full.
Cooking
  1. Air fry at 140 degrees C (275 degrees F) for 18 minutes or bake in the oven at 190C (170C fan) for 18 minutes until puffed and firm on top.
  2. Dust with icing sugar and serve warm.

Notes

Soufflés are best enjoyed immediately after baking. Cool completely and refrigerate for leftovers, reheating them gently. Use room temperature eggs for better volume in whipped whites.
