  • 2 cups rice cereal Crispy rice cereal for crunch.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips.
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter Creamy or crunchy peanut butter works.
  • 1/4 cup honey or corn syrup Sticky sweetener to bind the bars.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract For added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and honey over low heat. Stir until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In a large bowl, pour the chocolate mixture over rice cereal and mix until all pieces are coated.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into a lined baking dish.
  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour until set.
  6. Once set, cut into bars and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Add mix-ins like dried fruits or nut butter variations for a twist!
