Preparation
- In a medium bowl, combine crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter. Mix until well coated.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cream Cheese Layer
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping and spread evenly over the cookie crust.
Pudding Layer
- In another bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened.
- Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread gently.
Topping
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup on top and sprinkle mini chocolate chips.
Chill
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Serve
- Slice into squares and serve chilled, adding extra whipped topping and chocolate syrup if desired.
