  • 250 ml Heavy Cream Chill thoroughly before whipping.
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Fresh Oranges Zest and Juice Use fresh oranges for best results.

Preparation
  1. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place them in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Heat the chocolate in 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth and melted. Allow it to cool to room temperature.
  3. In another bowl, pour the chilled heavy cream and whip it on low speed, gradually increasing to medium-high until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently whisk in the fresh orange juice and zest into the cooled chocolate, infusing it with bright citrus flavor.
  5. Carefully fold one-third of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture, then delicately incorporate the remaining whipped cream until uniform.
  6. Prepare a springform pan by lining the bottom with parchment paper and pour in the mousse, smoothing the top.
  7. Refrigerate the mousse for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Garnish with additional orange zest or chocolate shavings before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.
