Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles that fit snugly in the muffin tin.
- Gently place the crusts into the muffin tin cups.
- Fill each crust with the apple mixture.
- Cut out small circles or strips from the remaining crust for topping and place them atop the apples.
- Beat the egg and milk together, then brush over the crusts.
Baking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
