Ingredients
  

Apple Filling
  • 2 pieces apples, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter for sautéing
Biscuit Dough
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
Caramel Addition
  • 8 pieces caramel candy
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted for brushing
  • optional cinnamon sugar for sprinkling on top

Method
 

Preparing the Filling
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the unsalted butter.
  2. Add the finely chopped apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Sauté until the apples are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Let the apple mixture cool down to room temperature.
Preparing the Dough
  1. Separate the biscuit dough into individual pieces.
  2. Flatten each piece of dough into a disc in your palm.
  3. Spoon some of the cooled apple mixture into the center of each disc and add a caramel candy on top.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges tightly.
  5. Roll them into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce. For storage, place leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
