For the smoothie base
  • 1 frozen banana Use fully frozen for the best texture.
  • 1 cup frozen cauliflower Acts as a creamy base.
  • 1 small handful fresh mint leaves Bruise the leaves slightly for more aroma.
  • 1 large scoop vanilla protein powder Your favorite brand.

  • 1 tsp spirulina powder Start with 1/2 tsp if new to spirulina.
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs Adds crunch.
For serving
  • extra mint For garnish.
  • cacao nibs For topping.
  • plant yogurt Optional, for topping.
  • chia seeds Optional, for topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the frozen banana and cauliflower into a high-speed blender first.
  2. Add the fresh mint leaves, vanilla protein powder, and the plant-based collagen boost creamer.
  3. Dust the spirulina powder over the top, then add the cacao nibs.
  4. Add a splash of water, plant milk, or ice as needed to help the blades move.
  5. Pulse on low, then blend on high until the mixture is silky and evenly emerald.
  6. Taste and adjust: add more mint leaves or creamer as desired.
  7. Pour into a chilled glass and top with extra mint, cacao nibs, plant yogurt, and chia seeds.

Notes

This smoothie is best fresh. If needed, refrigerate in an airtight jar for up to 24 hours; shake before drinking. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays.
