  • 2 cups milk (any kind) Use whole or oat milk for extra creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, chopped For a richer flavor, dark chocolate can be used.
  • 1 tablespoon matcha Add more for a stronger matcha flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Maple syrup can be used as a substitute.
Optional toppings
  • toasted marshmallows Ideal for topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan until it simmers gently.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in the chopped white chocolate until melted and smooth.
  3. Sift in the matcha and honey, whisking vigorously until frothy.
  4. Pour into glass mugs and top with toasted marshmallows if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat gently and whisk before serving. For an extra touch, sprinkle matcha on top before serving.
