Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss cubed butternut squash with olive oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the squash in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  2. Check for doneness—squash should be tender and caramelized.
  3. Serve warm.

Notes

Cool completely, then transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 4–6 minutes. Avoid microwaving to keep texture intact. For variations, try adding ginger and orange juice for a citrus twist, rosemary for a savory side, or topping with nuts for added crunch.
