- In a small mixing bowl, add the hot water and granulated sugar; stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Pour the sugar water into a blender, then add the cold water.
- Sprinkle the Kool-Aid packets over the mixture.
- Add the ice cubes and secure the blender lid.
- Blend the mixture on pulse until the ice is crushed and the mixture is smooth.
- Serve in a 12-ounce glass topped with a bendy straw.
Notes
For larger gatherings, double or triple the recipe. You can also add a scoop of ice cream for a creamier texture. If you have leftovers, store in the freezer for up to 20 minutes before serving.
