  • 1 piece Plastic baby figurine (optional)
  • Purple, green, and gold sanding sugar

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup of warm milk, the active dry yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract, then pour in the foamy yeast mixture.
  4. Knead everything together for 8-10 minutes until the dough is soft and elastic.
  5. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise for about 1-2 hours, until doubled in size.

  1. Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter into a paste.

  3. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet and let rest for another 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool completely before decorating.
Decoration
  1. Mix together the powdered sugar, milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to create a glaze.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake and sprinkle with sanding sugar.
