Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grease four ovenproof ramekins and place them inside a large baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, sweetener, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Divide the mixture evenly among the prepared ramekins.
Baking
- Boil water in a kettle and pour enough boiling water into the baking dish until ramekins are cradled beneath an inch of water.
- Slide the baking dish into the oven and bake for about 30 minutes until custard is set.
Serving
- Enjoy warm, or cool in the refrigerator before serving.
- Serve in the ramekins, optionally topped with cinnamon or berries.
