- In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the unsweetened cocoa powder and your sweetener of choice to the whipped cream, mixing gently.
- Continue to beat the mixture until smooth and it forms stiff peaks.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Store leftovers tightly covered in the fridge for 2-3 days, but it's best enjoyed fresh.
