Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
- Sprinkle in the salt and flour, mixing gently. Fold in the shredded coconut.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Cooling & Slicing
- Let the bars cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes
For an extra crunch, toast the shredded coconut before folding it in. Add chocolate chips or nuts for a twist.
