Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until it reaches soft peaks.
- In a shallow dish, pour your cooled brewed coffee.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and lay them in a single layer in a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Sprinkle half of the chopped cherries over the mascarpone layer.
- Repeat the layering with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and cherries.
Finishing Touch
- Dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Notes
Can add extra cherries or chocolate shavings for serving. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
