Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a shallow roasting pan, lay out the orange slices and pour in the orange juice.
- Place the roasting rack in the pan and put the ham on top.
Glaze Preparation
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, orange marmalade, and salt.
- Stir until mixed, then let it simmer for about 4 minutes.
Baking
- Pour half of the glaze over the ham and bake for 50 minutes.
- After 50 minutes, pour the remaining glaze over the ham and bake for another 20 minutes.
- Use a thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
Finishing Touches
- Remove the ham from the oven and tent with foil, letting it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Carve the ham and serve with the remaining glaze on the side.
Notes
Allow the ham to reach room temperature before baking for even cooking. Consider adding a splash of bourbon or apple cider to the glaze for a unique twist!
