Crust Ingredients
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
Filling Ingredients
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs Add one at a time, mixing well after each.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam For coating the strawberries.
Topping Ingredients
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream For garnishing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter.
  3. Press crust mixture firmly into a springform pan.
  4. Bake crust for 10 minutes and let cool.
Making the Filling
  1. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour cheesecake filling over prepared crust.
  5. Bake for 50–55 minutes until the center is slightly set.
  6. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Serving
  1. Toss sliced strawberries with strawberry jam.
  2. Spread strawberries over chilled cheesecake.
  3. Pipe whipped cream around edges.
  4. Add shortcake crumbs on top for garnish if desired.
  5. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

For a quicker assembly, consider preparing the crust a day in advance. You can use a food processor for perfect graham cracker crumbs. Feel free to experiment with different fruits like mango or kiwi for variety.
