  • 1 liter milk Use whole milk for best results.
  • 1 can condensed milk Essential for sweetness and body.
  • 3 pieces sifted egg yolks Yolks provide richness and stability.
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch Ensure it is sifted to avoid lumps.
  • 1 tablespoon butter Adds creaminess to the texture.
  • 1 small carton heavy cream Can be whipped lightly for a lighter fold.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional for flavor enhancement.
For Decoration
  • to taste chocolate shavings For garnishing.
  • to taste fruits Choose fresh seasonal fruits.

Preparation
  1. In a pot, mix the milk, condensed milk, sifted egg yolks, cornstarch, and butter.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  3. Turn off the heat, add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, then mix well until creamy.
  4. Refrigerate until very cold.
Serving
  1. Serve in small stemmed glasses or porcelain ramekins, topped with chocolate shavings and fruits.

Notes

Store covered in the coldest part of the refrigerator for up to 48-72 hours. Avoid freezing as it impacts texture.
