- Chop the cranberries in a food chopper until they reach your desired consistency.
- Chop the green onion, jalapeño peppers, and cilantro while enjoying the process.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the chopped cranberries, green onion, cilantro, and jalapeños.
- Add the sugar, lemon juice, and salt, then stir gently until everything is well blended.
- Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight to let the flavors mingle.
- When ready to serve, stir the mixture and strain any excess liquid.
- Whip the cream cheese with a hand mixer until fluffy (about 2 minutes).
- Spread the whipped cream cheese in the bottom of a pie plate or 9x9 dish.
- Top with the cranberry mixture and chill until serving.
