Pudding Mixture
  • 1 can pie filling or fruit topping (optional: strawberry or cherry) Optional for added flavor
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix 3.4 oz
  • 1.5 cups cold milk Use whole milk for richer flavor
  • 1 cup sour cream For creaminess
Topping and Garnish
  • 2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade) For a light topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Whisk the pudding mix with cold milk in a bowl until it thickens.
  2. Fold in the sour cream until well combined.
Layering
  1. In a trifle dish or glass bowl, layer half of the angel food cake cubes.
  2. Add half of the mixed berries, then pour half of the pudding mixture over the berries.
  3. Repeat the layers: cake cubes, berries, and pudding.
Finishing Touches
  1. Top with whipped topping and drizzle with caramel or berry sauce.
  2. Garnish with additional berries and whipped cream.
Chilling
  1. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.

Notes
