Preparation
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a food processor, pulse the Red Velvet Oreos until they form fine crumbs.
- Add cream cheese to the crumbs and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop out the dough using a tablespoon and roll into balls, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Chill in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
Dipping
- Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments.
- Dip each truffle ball into the melted green candy coating and place back on the baking sheet.
- Drizzle leftover melted candy over each truffle and sprinkle with red heart sprinkles.
- Allow to set in the fridge for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Consider adding crushed nuts for a bit of crunch or dyeing the candy melts red for more festivity.
