Ingredients
  

For the Hot Chocolate Bombs
  • 12 oz green candy melts For the outer shell
  • 3/4 cup white hot chocolate mix For the filling
  • 6 Tbsp crushed candy cane Add for flavor and texture
  • 6 Tbsp mini marshmallows For a soft filling
  • 3 tsp heart sprinkles For decorative filling
  • 1/2 cup white candy melts For sealing the bombs
  • Additional sprinkles and candy canes for decoration Optional, for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gently melt the green candy melts in a microwave or double boiler until smooth and glossy.
  2. Coat the inside of the molds with the melted green candy. Allow to set firmly.
  3. Fill one half of the molds with white hot chocolate mix, crushed candy canes, and mini marshmallows.
  4. Add heart sprinkles on top of the filling.
  5. Seal with the other half of the green candy shell and secure the edges with more melted candy.
  6. Cool completely and gently remove from molds.
Serving
  1. Place the bomb in a clear glass mug and pour steaming hot milk over it.
  2. Watch the magic happen as it melts, and stir to create a rich, creamy blend.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. Use clean, dry molds for the best results.
