Ingredients
  

Dough and Fillings
  • 1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese Divided into two portions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to a large rectangle, approximately 12 by 16 inches.
  2. Spread the marinara sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a border for the crust.
  3. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan over the sauce.
  4. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into 1-inch segments.
  5. Place the rolls into a greased baking dish.
Topping
  1. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  2. Brush the mixture over each roll.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the rolls and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

To store leftovers, cool completely, then place them in an airtight container. They will last for up to three days in the refrigerator. Reheat in the oven for best results. Try different fillings like pepperoni or vegetables to add variety.
