  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding (5.9 ounce)
  • 2.5 cups whole milk Use full-fat for the best texture.
  • 2.5 cups Cool Whip, defrosted and divided Can be substituted with whipped heavy cream.
  • 12 pieces graham crackers, broken in half and divided Break into smaller pieces to eliminate air pockets.
  • 5 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature Use full-fat for a creamier texture.
  • 7 ounces marshmallow creme
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding and whole milk until thickened.
  2. In another bowl, blend the cream cheese, marshmallow creme, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
Layering
  1. Layer half of the graham crackers at the bottom of a dish.
  2. Spread half of the chocolate pudding over the graham crackers.
  3. Add half of the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Follow with half of the Cool Whip.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
Freezing
  1. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until set.
Serving
  1. Serve straight from the freezer with a butter knife or a warmed scoop to slice clean, glossy wedges.
  2. Let each portion sit at room temperature for 3–5 minutes before serving.
  3. Offer a pinch of flaky sea salt or a few toasted marshmallows on top for contrast.

Notes

For additional layers of flavor, consider variations like salted caramel, nutty crunch, or mint-chocolate.
