Frosting
- In a small bowl, dissolve the instant coffee in heavy whipping cream and set aside.
- Beat the softened unsalted butter until light and fluffy, then gradually mix in the powdered sugar.
- Incorporate the coffee cream until the desired frosting consistency is achieved.
Serving
- Frost the cooled brownies generously with the coffee frosting, slice, and serve.
Notes
For a gourmet touch, add a pinch of sea salt to the frosting. You can also substitute espresso powder for instant coffee for a deeper flavor.
