- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, melt the chocolate chips and combine them with sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are firm.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely.
- Top each cookie with a dollop of whipped cream just before serving.
Notes
Serve with a sprinkle of sea salt or orange zest. These cookies pair well with espresso or chai. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days without whipped cream, and up to 24 hours if already topped with cream.
