Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and chai spice blend until combined.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour and salt until the dough comes together.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for expansion.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a moment before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra crunchiness, chill the dough for about 30 minutes before shaping. Experiment with flavors by adding a pinch of nutmeg or orange zest.
