Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 24 pieces Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
  • 24 ounces white chocolate chips or white melting wafers Use high-quality for best flavor
  • 1 cup red, white, and blue candy-coated chocolates For festive color
  • 3 tablespoons red, white, and blue star sprinkles Optional for decoration
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable oil

Method

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet, cutting board, or 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Roughly chop the Oreo cookies into bite-sized chunks and set aside.
Melting Chocolate
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until fully melted and smooth.
Mixing
  1. Fold about three-quarters of the chopped Oreos into the melted white chocolate mixture, reserving some for the top.
Assembling
  1. Pour the mixture onto the prepared parchment-lined surface and spread into an even layer about ¼ to ½ inch thick.
  2. Immediately sprinkle the remaining Oreo pieces, candy-coated chocolates, and patriotic star sprinkles evenly over the top. Gently press toppings into the chocolate so they stick.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate the bark for at least 1 hour or until completely firm.
  2. Once hardened, break or cut the bark into irregular pieces and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Use high-quality white chocolate for the smoothest texture.
