Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish or muffin tin.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  2. Allow to cool before frosting with cream cheese or topping with fresh fruit.
