For the Dirty Chai Latte
  • 2 ounces brewed espresso Use fresh, quality espresso for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup chai concentrate Chai concentrate has a more intense flavor.
  • 1/2 cup whole milk or preferred milk alternative Adjust the milk ratio based on your creaminess preference.
  • to taste Chai spice blend Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. For a hot dirty chai latte, pour 1/2 cup of chai concentrate into a microwave-safe mug, and heat until steaming (about 30 seconds).
  2. Add the freshly brewed espresso shots and stir gently to blend the flavors.
  3. Froth your milk using a milk frother until it's light and creamy.
  4. Pour the frothed milk over the espresso and chai mixture, and sprinkle a pinch of chai spice blend on top.
Iced Preparation
  1. For an iced dirty chai latte, fill a glass with ice.
  2. Mix the espresso shots, chai concentrate, and milk in the glass and stir well.
  3. Finish with a garnish of chai spice blend if desired.
Alternative Frothing Method
  1. If you don’t have a milk frother, combine equal parts chai concentrate and milk, heat until steaming, and whisk vigorously for about 20 seconds until frothy.
  2. Pour this over your espresso shots to enjoy a delicious treat.
