Ingredients
  

For the Cups
  • 24 pieces wonton wrappers
For the Filling
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Ensure shrimp are well-seasoned.
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp butter For sautéing shrimp.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper For seasoning.
  • for garnish Fresh parsley or green onions Adds freshness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Press wonton wrappers into muffin tins and lightly spray with oil.
  2. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes until golden and crispy.
Cooking the Shrimp
  1. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and lightly golden.
Making the Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and the lightly cooked shrimp.
Filling and Baking
  1. Spoon the shrimp mixture into the crispy wonton cups.
  2. Bake for another 8–10 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
Serving
  1. Top with extra shrimp, chopped parsley, or green onions before serving warm.

Notes

You can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To regain crunch, warm them in the oven.
