Preparation
- Peel the mangoes and cut the pulp into pieces, reserving a few slices for decoration.
- In a blender, combine the mango pieces, condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream cheese, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
Assembly
- In a refractory dish, layer Maria cookies at the bottom.
- Spread a layer of mango cream over the cookies.
- Repeat layering, ending with a layer of mango cream on top.
- Decorate with reserved mango slices and optional crushed cookies or lemon zest.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. Adding lemon zest to the cream enhances the flavor.
