Ingredients
  

Seafood
  • 1 large salmon fillet (about 2 lbs)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • slices Lemon slices, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brush the salmon and shrimp with olive oil and season them with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange the salmon fillet in a baking dish, surrounding it with shrimp and tucking lemon slices around the edges.
Making the Sauce
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan, sauté the garlic until fragrant, then stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  2. Simmer until silky smooth.
Baking
  1. Pour the sauce over the salmon and shrimp and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily and the shrimp are cooked through.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and spoon extra sauce over the top before serving.

Notes

For a little extra kick, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the creamy sauce, or for an added twist, try mixing in some diced sun-dried tomatoes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently to preserve the creamy goodness.
