Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush the salmon and shrimp with olive oil and season them with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange the salmon fillet in a baking dish, surrounding it with shrimp and tucking lemon slices around the edges.
Making the Sauce
- Melt the butter in a saucepan, sauté the garlic until fragrant, then stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Simmer until silky smooth.
Baking
- Pour the sauce over the salmon and shrimp and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily and the shrimp are cooked through.
Serving
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and spoon extra sauce over the top before serving.
Notes
For a little extra kick, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the creamy sauce, or for an added twist, try mixing in some diced sun-dried tomatoes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently to preserve the creamy goodness.
