Pasta and Shrimp
  • 1 lb spaghetti pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or thawed if using frozen
Sauce Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped For garnish
  • Red pepper flakes (optional) For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil spaghetti until perfectly tender, then drain and set aside.
Cooking Shrimp
  1. In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the shrimp, seasoning with paprika, salt, and pepper, cooking until they turn pink and opaque.
Making the Alfredo Sauce
  1. In a large pot, combine the minced garlic, heavy cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  2. Stir over medium heat until it becomes rich and silky.
Building the Pasta Stack
  1. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the sauce, twirling it to create tall stacks on your serving plates.
  2. Top each stack generously with the sautéed shrimp.
Finishing and Serving
  1. Spoon extra sauce around the pasta, garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for added flavor!
