Filling
  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 8 oz lobster meat, chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it's well-softened for the best texture.
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
Pastry
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • 1 tsp lemon zest Add on top before baking.

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, lobster, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, green onions, garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a rich filling.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and spread the seafood mixture evenly down the center.
  3. Carefully fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges tightly, ensuring no gaps remain.
Baking
  1. Brush the entire pastry with beaten egg, paying attention to the seams, and sprinkle with lemon zest.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 25–30 minutes or until the pastry is deeply golden brown and flaky.
  3. Allow the strudel to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

This strudel can be served as an appetizer or cozy dinner. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
